Internship/graduation assignment: High performance charting user control

Live view of time series data in a chart is often desirable at Demcon when testing mechatronic systems. Most charting libraries work well at low data rates, but at high data rates they do not perform well. Other plotting libraries are suited for publication ready plots, but not for real-time data.
During this assignment, a high performance charting control will be implemented using data min/max/mean aggregations to implement smooth zooming and panning.

The student will be supervised by an engineer from the software engineering department.
