Mechanical Systems Architect

YOUR DAY AT DEMCON AS MECHANICAL SYSTEMS ARCHITECT
As Mechanical Systems Architect, you play a pivoting role within our high-end development projects. You contribute your ideas from the very first client contact and continue until the machine or product is really finished and has been delivered to the complete satisfaction of our client. You are not only able to set the boundaries on a technical level, you also have a proven ability to create effective teams. In addition, you have a well-developed business sense that enables you to offer our clients optimal solutions. In short, you know how to motivate people within and outside the organization to commit themselves to your team and your project, and to ensure there is a proper balance and alignment between various stakeholder interests.
YOUR BACKGROUND, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- You have a university degree in mechanical engineering;
- You have at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the development of high tech systems, medical product development and/or machine construction;
- You have a proven track record as an initiator and as the person who has ultimate technical responsibility for these development projects;
- You have knowledge of and experience with 3D CAD, fine mechanical construction principles and analysis methods;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
