Manager engineering

Leading, developing and inspiring the team of Group Leaders within Demcon Eindhoven ensuring competence development, quality and innovation of our design house. Champions the Demcon culture, drives the technology roadmap and improves design & engineering processes.


Position in the organization

The Manager Engineering reports to the Managing Director of Demcon Eindhoven and leads a team of 9 Group Leaders in the field of High Tech- and Medical solutions. The group leaders lead engineering teams that exists over 150 engineers with different expertise. In this function you’re a MT member of Demcon Eindhoven.

What do you do?

  • Providing leadership and direction through group leaders ensuring resource planning, competence development, succession planning and excellent people management practices.
  • Owning and improving way of working, methodologies and tools in close collaboration with other stakeholders in the matrix-organization.
  • Oversees capacity forecasting and KPI’s.
  • Cooperate with Business Unit Manager and Business Operations Manager to facilitate excellent project execution.
  • Set up and maintain an external network.

  • Experienced in a role as a manager engineering
  • You are an effective facilitator and have the ability to unify and inspire a team. You are a committed leader with empathy to create support and have the perseverance to implement changes.
