What are you going to do?
In the role of Senior Software Engineer you are developing software for this technology. In order for you to put together the architecture it is important that you know how to take initiative, are creative and like tackling challenging problems with innovative solutions. You will be working on the limits of what is possible while working on development of new functionalities. Next to the focus on your expertise, we would like for you to enjoy transferring this knowledge onto other colleagues. Due to your years of experience, you naturally have an overview of everything necessary for optimal execution of the project. Quality assurance is one of your core values. Since we’re working in a niece market with a lot of undiscovered ground, you will be dealing with software development from simulation to implementation, but also maintenance of the system’s functionalities, amongst others: the autopilot, mission planner, data acquisition sensor, data processing and communication.
What do you bring to the table?
- A university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience working on diverse projects.
- Experience with C++ and Linux.
