Demcon life sciences & health is a multidisciplinary development and engineering partner for mechatronic challenges, from concept to realization, in the field of life sciences & health.

Function

You will be involved from start (specification) to delivery (integration and/or industrialization) and will be given a lot of responsibility and freedom. You will have plenty of room to choose projects that interest you in consultation with your group leader. This open approach typifies our culture, as does the personal and involved work atmosphere.

You are involved in the concept phase and are then responsible for the engineering and foundation of the concept by making calculations and test setups. You work out the complete construction dossier, take care of the outsourcing of the critical components of the system and then manage the realization or you will participate in setting up professional series production. You discuss with the other disciplines to come to an overall design and you feel responsible for the design you are in charge of.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a mechanical engineer in the development of high-tech, industrial or medical systems
You seek depth in fine mechanical construction principles, analysis methods and DFX
Fluent speaking/writing the Dutch and English language
Skilled with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks)
You like to bear responsibility up to and including verification of the final product
You are not afraid to approach others
A great sense of responsibility
