During surgery, electrical power can be used to burn blood vessels shut to prevent excessive bleeding; this is called diathermy. To prevent unintended burns, the power output must be regulated according to the impedance of the tissue.
During your internship or graduation project you will design a generator that can be used for diathermy. The following aspects will be addressed:
