About Demcon
Demcon Focal is part of the Demcon group and specializes in the design, development and production of opto-mechatronic systems and complex vision systems. At Demcon Focal we work on the latest developments in optics, lens assemblies, 2D and 3D inspection methods, real-time computational techniques and artificial intelligence. Our solutions have applications in various fields such as semiconductor, biomedical, aerospace, and agro-food industries.
What are you going to do?
You are concerned with coaching the engineers within Demcon Focal. You know your employees and know who needs what attention. Besides developing, coaching and assessing your team, your primary task is to assign your employees to projects and support them in performing their tasks within the projects.
You are responsible for the quality and efficiency of your employees’ work in the projects. And you also ensure that the right competencies are in place to run the projects. Here you also take into account the competencies that will be needed in the future.
For this, you work closely with our managing director, project managers, group leaders from other departments and branches.
What do you bring to the table?
You are someone who is a good listener, connects, gives trust and can stand beside the colleague to get the best out of the employee. And do you possess the following capabilities:
- Experience managing technical teams in a project organization;
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- You are independent and not afraid to take initiative.
- Several years of experience in developing systems from concept to realization;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- Completed technical wo education;
