Demcon kryoz is a developer and supplier of cryogenic micro-coolers for (material) research and high-end electronics and sensors.
What are you going to do?
As a business developer, you will contribute to increasing sales by developing and winning new customers at home and abroad.
You accomplish this by finding and developing new opportunities in the market, resulting in long-term customer relationships. The challenge is characterized by a high degree of entrepreneurship and flexibility, which enables you to identify new potential customers and create openings there. It is important to form a good judgment of the technical issues and the possible added value of Demcon kryoz.
As a business developer, you develop propositions for clients that you deploy into a strategy. You generate new leads that match this strategy and guide the process from contract to signature. You are good at identifying new opportunities. Together with project managers, you maintain warm customer contacts from start to completion. Furthermore, you develop PR materials for the market and increase the brand awareness of Demcon kryoz in the market domain. You are technically strong and can think along with the customer on the main lines and estimate when it fits Demcon kryoz. You know how to perfectly distinguish between main and side issues.
You will work closely with the management of Demcon kryoz and contribute to the strategic direction of the company. With you on board we will make the growth ambitions come true.
What do you bring to the table?
- Completed technical HBO or WO education;
- At least 5 years of commercial work experience with a technical company, preferably within high-tech product development;
- Strong commercial ability: able to properly assess the customer and opportunities for Demcon;
- Energetic, goal-oriented and a hands-on mentality;
- Command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
- Willingness to travel (internationally).
