Assembly technician
Introduction
For a new business unit within Demcon production, we are looking for enterpreneural technicians (mechanical engineering and electrotronic engineering).
Organization
The business unit industrial production projects has just started as the newest assembly location and operates as an independent unit within Demcon production. Industrial production projects focuses as a contract manufacturer on machine and equipment manufacturing for OEM’s and manufacturing parties. The core of our team is focusing on industrialization, (pre-)series assembly, testing and service. The team now consists of enthusiastic assembly and testing staff, a number of hardware and industrialization engineers & (project) management who love a challenge and know how to get on with it. For our assembly team we are looking for enthusiastic and independent assembly technicians.
Function
As an assembly technician, you will be responsible for assembling, integrating and/or testing modules and systems. You do this using SOLIDWORKS models, electrical diagrams and work instructions. If necessary, you also help to further improve or optimise these. Besides assembling, you help carry out tests and quality checks. Through your approach and commitment, together with the assembly and test team, you ensure that the machines leave our workshop on time and in good working order. It doesn’t have to stop there, if you have sufficient experience with the working methods and the systems you may also help on site to commission the machines.
Requirements
- At least senior secundary vocational education level 3 or 4 in direction of Fine Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering;
- You have experience working from SOLIDWORKS and/or electrical schematics;
- Several years of relevant work experience in engineering (experience in mechanical engineering is an advantage);
- Affinity with both process-based and project-based work;
- Communicative skills and able to transfer knowledge;
- Independent. Anticipates bottlenecks in the work and communicates this effectively;
- Able to communicate in Dutch;
- You are practical, solution-oriented (both from theory and practice), driven and flexible.
